Oh shit, I am jetlagged and raggedy and slightly confused as to why Im taking a train, but worry not. Madrid is really beautiful and majestic. The Parque del Buen Retiro was such a treat, mosquito bites aside, I dont think Ive ever seen a park like it before. Palm trees happily seated next to aging connifers, more fountains than minnesota has got lakes, and some random glass structures that brought me to tears (That might be from the fact that everyone seems to smoke the most acrid tobacco they can get their hands on).
Another thing about this park is that there are workers EVERYWHERE. Maintenance is taken very seriously. Fashion is rather the opposite it seems.
I peed in public. Why you ask? Because I drank a 1.5 L bottle of water in about 10 mintues, then had a calamari sandwich and a coke, and after 2 hours of walking, had no choice.
once the interweb can be used in conjunction with my computer the posts will get much more nutrageous, until then, I love you all.
